Recreation Seasons: Spring & Fall

The STORM rec league in North County San Diego encompasses the vibrant communities of Carlsbad, Encinitas, San Marcos, and the Tri-City area. As part of this league, young girls have the opportunity to discover the joys of lacrosse in a supportive and community-oriented setting. STORM Lacrosse's rec league focuses on providing a fun and inclusive experience for players of all skill levels. Through local programs, the league creates a sense of camaraderie and fosters a love for the sport among participants. Coaches and volunteers are dedicated to nurturing both individual skills and team dynamics, ensuring that each player grows not only as an athlete but also as a responsible and respectful member of the community. STORM's rec league is a cornerstone of the lacrosse scene in North County, cultivating a passion for the sport and forging lasting connections among players, families, and the local community.

We are love seeing our new & returning players continue to be a part of the largest FALL and SPRING girls lacrosse program in Southern California! Fall registration will open in July while Spring registration opens by early October.  Each year we fill up earlier and earlier. While we work hard to increase our capacity, we are also committed to not having rosters that are so big that your daughter spends more time on the sidelines than on the field.

Fall Season: 

Beginner & Rec Level Kindergarten -8th Grade Players

  • Weekday skill development training
  • Sat/Sun small field games

Starts after Labor Day & concludes the third weekend in October.

Spring Season

  • Registration opens in early Fall.
  • Season starts the week after Presidents Weekend and concludes the weekend before Memorial Day.
  • Spring season is formatted with weekly practices and 8 games throughout the season.

USA Lacrosse

USA Lacrosse membership is required to be able to participate. Sign up for membership at USA Lacrosse before registering.

 

Every player needs the following:

  • USA Lacrosse Membership
  • Girls/Women’s lacrosse stick
  • Goggles
  • Cleats
  • Mouthguard
  • Team Jersey

STORM has established itself as the premier development program in Southern California!

STORM is committed to offering high level training with coaches who are focused on developing the entire athlete. Skilled players will get a fast-paced competitive experience with lots of touches, and newer players will get the skill-training and knowledge to have fun and evolve their games. North Coast STORM was started by Dann and Suzanne Campaigne with a single Carlsbad team. Today, the program has evolved into North County’s largest and fastest growing program, including kids throughout North County San Diego.  From the beginning, our mission has been to empower youth to succeed.  Our goals? Top-tier skills, and the confidence and personal strength to be successful anywhere.
